Ministries

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Each Sunday morning all age level classes meet to study God’s Word. Our adult classes offer a place where you will find encouragement and support as you learn and apply God’s truths to your own life. There are age-graded classes for our children and youth. Adults are offered couples classes, single adults, men and women classes as well as mixed classes. Find your place in Sunday School – experience the connection through God’s Word and fellowship!

MUSIC MINISTRY
At Calvary First Baptist Church all of our music is directed to an audience of One – the Holy Trinity – God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit.  There are opportunities to be involved with the praising God through music, beginning at age three through senior adult.  God’s favorite song is the one His children sing to Him… come and worship with us!

YOUTH MINISTRY
Through a variety of ministries, CFBC students are offered opportunities for Christian growth and development in their walk with Christ. During the week, through Bible study and Sunday School, students have an opportunity for Christian learning. Throughout the year there are youth fellowships, recreational trips, youth camp and community ministry opportunities. For more information, email Randy Drew at youth@calvaryfirstbaptist.com.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
The Children’s Ministry offers many opportunities for children to grow and develop in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our ultimate goal is to see each child accept Christ as his/her personal Savior. Each week we provide our children with Sunday School, Children’s Church, “Children in Action”, Children’s Choir and many special events. In the summer we provide Children’s Camp, Day Camp, and Vacation Bible School. We also have a Wednesday evening children's class called "Mission Friends." Children are important to our church, and we want to help them see God’s love in everything we do and say. For more information, email Felicia Walker at children@calvaryfirstbaptist.com.

SENIOR ADULTS
At Calvary First Baptist, there are many areas of service for our senior adults, as well as ministries to our seniors.  We offer Sunday School classes for couples as well as men and women’s classes. Outings are planned during the year for fun and fellowship.  Our seniors have a wonderful time together.

MISSIONS
CFBC begins missions right in our own neighborhood.  We provide many church and community fellowship opportunities throughout the year including an Easter Egg Hunt, Fall for Jesus, and special Thanksgiving and Christmas events. We also directly support the Lottie Moon Missions Offering as well as general missions giving that supports the Annie Armstrong Offering for Home Missions, the JD Chapman Offering for SC Missions, and the North Greenville Crisis Ministry.

Manna

CFBC operates a weekly food pantry ministry where we endeavor to be a physical and spiritual encouragement to our homeless community and those who need a helping hand. We endeavor to provide a helping hand as well as a help up where we spiritually challenge and minister to those who come our way by showing them the love of Christ in giving them the gospel as well as sharing food and other necessities.
