SUNDAY SCHOOL
When you only attend worship you’re missing an important part of the Sunday morning experience! Each Sunday morning all age level classes meet to study God’s Word. Our adult classes offer a place where you will find encouragement and support as you learn and apply God’s truths to your own life. There are age-graded classes for our children and youth. Adults are offered couples classes, single adults, men and women classes as well as mixed classes. Find your place in Sunday School - get connected with other people.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Music plays a vital role in our worship services at Calvary First Baptist. Our choirs, instrumentalist and praise team are important to our church family. There are opportunities to be involved with the music program from three years old and up. Music is an excellent way to express our feelings and love to God and others.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Through a variety of ministries, our students are offered opportunities for Christian growth and development in their walk with Christ. During the week, through Bible study and Sunday School, students have an opportunity for Christian learning. Throughout the year there are youth fellowships, recreational trips, youth camp and community ministry opportunities.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
The Children’s Ministry offers many opportunities for children to grow and develop in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our ultimate goal is to see each child accept Christ as his/her personal Savior. Each week we provide our children with: Sunday School, Children’s Church, “Children in Action”, Children’s Choir and many special events. In the summer we provide Children’s Camp and Vacation Bible School. Children are important to our church, and we want to help them see God’s love in everything we do and say.
SENIOR ADULTS
Senior adults are important to Calvary First Baptist. There are Sunday School classes for couples as well as men and women’s classes. The 3-H Club meets the third Monday of each month for supper and a time of Christian entertainment. Outings are planned during the year for fun and fellowship. Our seniors have a wonderful time together.
MISSIONS
Calvary First Baptist is a mission minded church. We feel God wants us to minister to the people here in our community. Our ministry to the community includes a food closet, a community Easter Egg Hunt, and a community “Fall for Jesus” Festival. We want our community to see Jesus in everything we do.
